Second-year students from Aichi Prefectural Aichi High School of Technology and Engineering visited Toyohashi University of Technology on November 8, 2024, and toured research facilities, including those of the Institute for Research on Next-generation Semiconductor and Sensing Science (IRES²) and other laboratories.

A total of seven students visited IRES², where Associate Professor Keisuke Yamane of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering guided them through the semiconductor integrated circuit facilities and equipment at the LSI Factory.

After the tour, the students asked many questions, demonstrating their strong interest in IRES² and its research activities.

IRES² welcomes visits from students of colleges of technology and high schools.
