A delegation from the Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry visited Toyohashi University of Technology on October 1, 2024, and toured the LSI Factory of the Institute for Research on Next-generation Semiconductor and Sensing Science (IRES²).

During the visit, the delegation learned about the history of semiconductor integrated circuit research at the University, research facilities and equipment, and research and educational activities related to semiconductor technology. This was followed by an active exchange of views and ideas with Professor Sawada, Director of IRES², and other university representatives.
