On May 23, 2024, students from Toyohashi Higashi High School visited Toyohashi University of Technology and toured research facilities, including those of IRES² and other laboratories.

A total of 40 students visited IRES², where Professor Tsuyoshi Kawano guided them through the semiconductor integrated circuit facilities and equipment at the LSI Factory.

After the tour, the students shared their impressions, including:

“I realized that pursuing a specialized field is really inspiring. I am glad that this experience gave me an opportunity to broaden my horizons.”

“The facilities were much more advanced than I had imagined, and I was deeply impressed. This experience has inspired me to dream bigger about my future.”

IRES² welcomes future visits from students of colleges of technology and high schools.
