The LSI fab of the Institute for Research on Next-generation Semiconductor and Sensing Science promotes education for semiconductor engineers. The seminar was held as a special lecture for students and young researchers as part of this initiative.
　In this seminar, Mr. Yamamichi, a thought leader in the Japanese semiconductor industry, spoke about his hopes and expectations for the younger generation, focusing on the future of computing and semiconductors promoted by IBM. He discussed with the participating students the value of the technology they have learned at IBM and the guidelines for their own future careers.
